1. Katie Larmour Linen


Katie Larmour is a designer based in Belfast who handcrafts beautiful one of a kind pieces using high quality Irish linen. Her products include Irish linen embellished hanging decorations, Irish linen cushions, antique luxcycled scarf cushions and Irish linen apparel. Sustainability is at the heart of the business with reclaimed beads, off-cuts and factory deadstock sourced from one of the last remaining linen mills still active in Ireland used in the creation of these elegant showpieces. Katie's collections are inspired by a mixture of couture fashion, patchwork farmland, shapes of the artistic 'De Stijl' and ‘Suprematism’ movements, history and nature.

2. Bluebell Stitches

Heather has been hand stitching textile gifts for the last 15years from her little cottage in Northern Ireland. Her unique keepsakes include Liberty heart hangers, bookmarks, wall hangers, mini cushions, key-rings, brooches and more. Each of her pieces are made to order using a pretty mix of wool felt and cotton fabrics and have a beautiful country charm.


 

3. Ollanua

Nicola Gates is a designer and maker from Northern Ireland. She specialises in making handwoven woollen goods at her studio in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Her product offering includes handwoven wrap scarves, blankets, tote bags, travel pouches and Christmas baubles. The name Olla Nua means 'New Wool' in Irish and aims to reflect her use of this natural and sustainable material in a modern and imaginative way.

4. Loop Lane Designs

Kerri McGimpsey is a maker based in Belfast who specialises in beautiful macramé and woven décor. Her products range from macramé plant hangers, leaf wall hangings, coasters and keyrings which she sells through her small business Loop Lane Designs. These are available in a range of sizes and colours and Kerri also works on commission requests.

5. Mint & Ink Co.

Mint & Ink Co is a small business run by Laura, a talented modern calligrapher who uses her creative skills to design beautiful hand lettered glass mugs, tumblers, prints and signs. Laura's products have a seasonal theme with lots of lovely new Christmas mugs and signs currently available on her etsy shop.

6. On Your Doorsteph

Stephanie is a photographer and small business owner of 'On Your Doorsteph' based in Fermanagh. Using her photography skills Stephanie is able to capture breath-taking shots of the various landscapes and wildlife that exist in Northern Ireland. She transforms her photographs into a range of lovely homeware items including prints, framed photos, coasters and scratch posters which you can purchase on her etsy page.

7. Olivia's Haven


Olivia's Haven is a luxury candle business run by Olivia Burns in Coleraine, Northern Ireland. It specialises in hand-poured soy candles, wax melts and diffusers with scents inspired by Olivia's own scent memories, many from her childhood. Gift boxes are also available which means you can purchase two Olivia's Haven candles or six wax melts which make for a great gift to a loved one.


Olivia's Christmas range includes limited edition festive scents; 'Christmas at the Old Rectory', 'Midnight Carols' and 'Dr Marshall's Christmas Tree'. Her Christmas pop-up store is opening on the 11th of December from 10am to 4pm at Acorn Business Centre in Ballymoney. Here you will get a chance to purchase the in-door exclusive fragrance 'Christmas in the Alps' and products from the newly launched brand Pearl Beauty by Elanna McGowan.

8. The Knitting Crab

The Knitting Crab is a small business run by Lauren Crabbe who has a passion for textiles and knitting. Lauren makes beautiful hand-knitted chunky blankets, cushions, coasters and other kinds of home décor. You can direct message Lauren on Instagram to place an order. She is currently making lovely handknitted Christmas puddings to use as Christmas decorations this season.

9. Little Forget Me Nots

Louise from Portadown fell in love with embroidery when she found that it really helped to keep her mind focused and deal with difficult times. This inspired her to launch her small business Little Forget Me Nots. A donation from each premade item on her website goes towards the 'Little Forget Me Nots Trust'. Also founded by Louise, the trust promotes using a traditional skill like embroidery to help families deal with child loss grief.


Louise encourages others to take up the craft by selling punch needle & embroidery kits and hosting punch & weave workshops. In addition to her punch needle & embroidery kits Louise's product offering also includes, Christmas themed banners, initial banners, personalised Christmas stockings, robin Christmas sweaters and personalised sweaters.



 

10. Jacqueline Rooney Art

Jacqueline Rooney is a multi award winning artist from Rostrevor in County Down. She use to be Head of Art at a busy secondary school but is now living her dream as a full time artist painting beautiful, vibrant and uplifting works of art. Following an exciting collaboration with Jay Blades, a renowned furniture designer and presenter of BBC's "The Repair Shop", Jacqueline launched her own label of luxury velvet homewares and opened up her new Art Gallery and shop in the heart of Rostrevor.



 

11. Mr Kite Designs

Mr Kite Designs is run by textile artists Jade and Jo, who both share a love of craft, design and all things handmade. They design and make a beautiful range of colourful gifts and homewares at their studio in Ballyvolane, Cork. Their collections include lampshades, lamp bases, cushions, cards, bags and cards. All products are made to order and are inspired by textiles and pattern, particularly bold and unusual prints

12. Lauren Fowler

Lauren Fowler handcrafts beautiful wooden furniture using locally sourced and sustainable hardwood which she sells through her small business based in Ballynahinch, Co. Down. Her products range from wooden hanging Christmas decorations, soap dishes, serving boards, tables, firepits and more. Christmas kits consisting of wood slices, mini paints and brushes are also available to buy on her etsy page - a great idea for entertaining the kids at home and giving as personalised gifts.



 

13. Home & Dried

Home and Dried is a small business run by Rebecca in Ballymoney who sells beautiful dried floral arrangements. Her Christmas collection includes; Mulled Wine Large Bouquet offering a traditional mix of reds, sparkling golds and green flowers, After Eight Large Bouquet featuring Green foliage, platinum and white designed to have a winter wonderland feel and even cream dried floral baubles.

14. Deliciae Sleep

Deliciae Sleep was established in 2020 by Kylie Gourley and Caroline Purdy with the aim of providing luxury silk products that promote a more restful nights sleep. All Deliciae items are made from 100% Mulberry Silk and include pillowcases, a sleep mask, hair scrunchies and a travel pouch to take your pillowcase wherever you go. In addition to helping with sleep, Deliciae Silk products also offer great benefits to your hair and skin.

Lauren Spence runs Cotton and Cloud, a small business based in Coleraine that specialises in handmade home décor pieces. Her product range includes garlands, curtain ties, wall hangings and custom made pieces. Lauren is passionate about interior design and loves to style a cosy home. Her product designs take inspiration from neutral décor and natural textures.

16. Lily and the Loom

Lily and the Loom is run by Northern Ireland mum Jayne who makes lovely wall hangings, diffuser hangings, woven circles, clouds and other forms of home décor to brighten up peoples homes.

17. Emma Colbert Art

Emma Colbert is an artist and animal lover from Northern Ireland. Emma paints with pastels to create incredibly realistic artworks of wildlife, landscapes, pet and human portraits. She also hosts tutorials on her YouTube channel to inspire and teach others how to paint well using pastels.

18. Wild Earth Studio

Recently rebranded Wild Earth Studio is a small business run by maker and artist Hannah Dorman. Hannah designs and creates art, jewellery, stationary and home décor items including cushions, tea towels and lighting. Each piece has vibrant colours, patterns and movement and reflects Hannah's love of the sea, trees, woodlands and wild nature. Her studio is based in Born and Bred, on Ann St Belfast where you can purchase some of her work as well as through her online store.

19. Hannah Watterson

Hannah Watterson is an artist from Northern Ireland. Much of her work takes inspiration from the dairy farm she grew up on and all the animals that were there. Using vibrant eye-catching colours Hannah has developed a unique style that makes her animal paintings come alive. Hannah uses her original artwork to also create mugs, coasters and prints which form her homeware collection.

20. The Copper Otter

Jacqui-May is an Irish weaver and textile artist from Northern Ireland who handcrafts beautiful bespoke wall hangings. These can be in the form of a tapestry like the one pictured above or a handmade cloud. Jacqui-May also offers various kinds of weaving kits and greetings cards on her website.
